Clinics double-book appointments across tools

Small clinics juggle a phone line, a web form and a paper diary, so slots get booked twice and patients are turned away.

“We had two patients show up for the same slot and no way to know who booked first.”

(03)Under the hood

Six things, running quietly while you build.

The research happens in the background. You notice mostly by not having to do it.

(04)How it works

Always scanning. Always scoring.

  1. 01

    Scan

Public posts and reviews are read around the clock, 24/7, across Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and app stores.

  2. 02

    Group

As new complaints arrive, similar ones collapse into one pain point, with the quotes, dates and sources kept attached.

  3. 03

    Score

Demand, trend, willingness to pay and competition give every pain point a score that updates as new evidence comes in.

  4. 04

    Validate

Check who already solves it, save the evidence to a project and decide whenever you are ready, before you write code.

Questions, answered

What is Itch Finder?

Itch Finder is an evidence-based opportunity finder for indie hackers, founders and developers. It scans online communities for real problems people describe, groups them into pain points and scores each one.

Where does the data come from?

Public communities and reviews such as Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and app store reviews. Every pain point links back to the posts behind it.

How are pain points scored?

Each pain point is scored on demand, trend, willingness to pay and competition, based on the mentions we collected and when they were posted.

Is it free to try?

Yes. You can create an account and start exploring problems for free while we are in early access.

Does it replace talking to customers?

No. It helps you pick a problem worth pursuing and shows who already serves it. You should still talk to the people who have the problem.
